with all the chaos that is the inside of our house
holiday decorating has not happened yet this year
and with the entire rest of my family being sick
for about 2 weeks
the chance of anything happening anytime soon
seemed negligible
there was a break in the cold last week
and i took the opportunity to get out of the house
(away from all the needy sick people)
and put up a few lights
sort of a pick-me-up for my spirit
it’s not nearly as elaborate as my dear hubby usually produces
but it get’s the point across
and i can smile when approaching my house in the dark
(anytime between 4:45 p.m. and 7:45 a.m.)
