indian summer

we were lucky enough this year
to get a healthy dose of indian summer

we had several weeks of nice weather
the most recent one
with highs in the upper 60s
and even into the 70s

we definitely tried to use the time
to soak up some sun
and get more work done outdoors

so all the pots got cleaned out
the logs got taken to the curb
the grass was mowed one last time
the leaves were raked

it’s been relatively mild this week as well
temps in the 50s
but it’s been raining
hopefully it will be dry enough tomorrow to rake
because i think this tree is now bare
