rain rain go away

this summer has been incredibly rainy around here
we rarely experience drought
but this rain has been unreal
and it has wreaked havoc with our sports seasons

since june 1 it has rained
7 out of the 10 weekends
38 of the 72 days (normal is 22)
the longest stretch without rain:
5 days
in august there are normally 11 days of rain
we’ve already had 7

it does give the little ones more to do
while waiting for the games to be over

thought at times it can be a bit chilly
waiting to clean up after the fun
