cj had another baseball game this sunday

he has a game every sunday
so that wasn’t anything different

this was

here it is just as we’re leaving for home

the red cheek doesn’t come through as well as the purple eye
but i’m pretty sure that’s where he got hit
the eye is just a bonus
and this is after having ice on it for about an hour
there was a point where it was pretty much swollen shut

his story when asked what happened?

i saw the ball going outside the plate
then it just turned in and hit me
i didn’t know you could throw a curve ball
in such a young league as this

poor guy!

this is before school this morning

he really seems to be doing fine
not too sore

the worst part for him
is all the attention he’s getting
from everyone
