spring

i fell almost silly
posting about spring

this is the time of year
that i most feel
the difference in time

it seems the rest of the country
had spring years ago
while we are just finally
able to go outside without
*gasp* heavy winter coats!!

 

it still gets down into the low 30s
and the ground is still frozen
so yard work and gardening
are still a distant dream
but we can do clean up
and get ready for that time
while enjoying the sunshine and fresh air

and maybe best of all

napping

while being warmed by the sun
and cooled by a fresh breeze
