it was warm today
like in the 60’s
we opened windows
played outside
without coats
everything’s melting
which, in our world,
makes for a lot of water
yes this is my “yard”
you can see the mulch from the flower bed
what you can’t see is the grass
because it is under an ocean
days like this give me hope
for warmer, sunnier days to come
too bad it’s supposed to
snow
the next couple of days
