i have decided that there is no reason for me to buy art for my walls
the art program at the boys’ school is wonderful
they learn about specific artists and/or historic time periods
and then create art in that style
a landscape created after learning about Kandinsky
a sculpture created after learning about “found object art”
and the artist Louise Nevelson
“fish prints” made after studying the Japanese art of Gyotaku
getting their portfolios at the end of the year
and adding to the collection
is one of my favorite things to do
