we were at the park this afternoon
christopher was trying out for the baseball team
timmy and zachy were climbing on the play structure
benjamin and i were playing on a blanket in the grass

the sun was shining
nothing but blue skies above
a warm wind from the west

i could have imagined myself home…

except for the sea gulls
